Our Focus Christian Value  is:'Wisdom'.

We are also focussing on how our school values of collaboration, resilience, reflectivity, creativity and resourcefulness can help us achieve our aspirations.

NEW WEBSITE ON ITS WAY! We are aware that some of the information on our website may be out of date. Our new website is currently under construction and will be available very soon. Thank you for your patience.

Headteacher's Welcome

We wish you a very warm welcome to the King’s Somborne CE Primary School website. We are a happy, vibrant learning community where every child is valued and nurtured to achieve their very best. We focus on developing attitudes to learning that will enable our children to become creative, enquiring, dynamic, problem solvers equipped to take on all the challenges of this rapidly evolving 21st century. As a result of this focus, our confident and highly motivated learners achieve excellent academic results

The whole school community were delighted and proud to have the achievements and caring ethos highly praised by Ofsted and the Church Schools Inspections which took place in 2012.

As you will see from our current website, we are a village school at the centre of the community but with a global outlook. We are proud of our beautiful, peaceful spiritual and eco gardens which were whole community projects. The children’s experiences are enhanced by our music programme, school band, creative enrichment programme and many sports teams.

Our new website, due in the next couple of weeks, is designed to keep our parents and children updated with the latest events, news and achievements.

But, of course the best way to understand the uniqueness of our school is to make a visit. So please do make an appointment and I would be happy and proud to show you around and let over a hundred children tell you all about their school and their learning.

Best Wishes

David Roebuck (Acting head)
