Keeping Children Safe Online

At a recent Governors meeting, we discussed how we promote E-safety in school. As part of our new Learning Adventures, we have a whole school focus each half term - this begins with 'One World' in Autumn 1 and changes to 'Keeping Safe On Line' in Autumn 2. This gives the school a great opportunity to have it as a focus point for large period of time, but the links outlined below will also help to give you further advice and guidance on how to keep your children safe online. It is a vital skill that is important every day.

We prioritise this as part of our curriculum (which can be seen on our Computing curriculum), but are eager to ensure that we also support our parents in the steps that they too can take at home to support their children. If you look at the NSPCC (Online Safety Resources) link below, you will see that it gives you the opportunity to book a space on their free webinars to discuss Online Safety.

Should you ever have a concern about your child's safety or require further advice, then please do speak to one of our Designated Safeguarding Leads at the school (Paul O'Brien, Catherine Cartwright, Patrick Cheyne and Sam Boot).
