In the afternoon on Friday 5th July, we were treated to an incredible performance of two well known fairy tales but with a twist! Kenn and Iain from OpenBox Theatre Company captivated us with their amazing acting skills - we all laughed and smiled so much!

D-Day 80th Anniversary Memorial Service
A selection of our Year 5 and 6 children represented the school at the memorial service for D-day held on the 6th of June. A group of 6 children read the poem Normandy by Juno Veteran, Cyril Crain.
The children of Eagle Class also designed medals to adorn the cenotaph and to honour those who served. Take a look at the memorial to see our designs.
Sports Day - Standing Jump!
On Tuesday 4th June, we had our Sports Day. In the morning, we completed lots of different activities in our house teams including the Standing Jump! In the afternoon, we completed a relay race, a sprint race and a long distance race (if we wanted to!). We had such a wonderful day that was finished off with a yummy ice lolly!

Residential Trip - Avon Tyrrell 22 - 24 May 2024
What a fantastic trip we have had! The children were outstanding throughout, and many a moment was spent laughing until our belly hurt! We will continue to upload some pictures to this page over the weeks ahead, but for now, these will give you a snap shot of some of the activities and fun that was had by all (I don't yet have all of the photos from every group!).
A huge thank you to our brilliant children for their exemplary behaviour and attitudes throughout - we are so very proud of them, and know that they will all have made lots of memories to last lifetime!
