Our School Improvement Priorities 2026/27
At King's Somborne we are always looking at ways to improve. Part of my remit as Headteacher is to write a School Improvement Plan each year. In creating our priorities I will analyse data and look and patterns and trends to consider the main foci for the year ahead. As you will see with this years targets, we are focusing on four key areas that we think can have a great impact upon each and every child.
There are so many other things that we will be working on too, but narrowing our focus to key strategic areas helps our Governors to support whole school improvement, and ensures that we assess and monitor our progress throughout the year.
Did you know that a Governor is assigned to each priority, and will carry out termly visits to the school to see the plan in action? They then work in partnership with school leaders to drive school improvement and assess the impact of the School Improvement Plan.
